Answer: The ability of a person to establish a relationship with other people are called Social Heath. One other important characteristic of social health is the ability to change one’s own behaviour according to changing social conditions. 2. Give examples of Cyber Crimes.
Answer: Given here are some examples that can be considered as cyber crime:
1. If we disclose the Aadhaar / PAN / credit card / debit card number and other personal information to any person, they can in all probability misuse this data
2. Do not disclose the PIN to anyone as this can also be misused and bank transactions can be done with your knowledge
3. Online stores have deceived consumers by showing superior items on websites, but actually selling them items of either inferior quality or impaired ones.
4. Confidential information about government, institutes and companies are hacked from the internet with the help of computer programs or other ideas and misused.
5. Fake accounts on Facebook, displaying false information are used to tease girls or exploit them financially.
6. Misuse or illegal sale of the written literature, software, photos, videos, music, etc. of others by obtaining from the internet is called piracy.
7. Electronic media are also misused by sending derogatory messages, spreading vulgar pictures and inflammatory statements.
8. Exchange of information through media like email, Facebook and Whatsapp takes place very fast. However, our personal information and phone numbers are automatic spread to reach the unwanted persons. This leads to malpractices such as incoming of unnecessary messages. Some of such messages either impair or shut down mobiles and computers.
3. What is IT Act-2000?
Answer: Enacted since 17th October 2000, the IT ACT-200 was amended in 2008. According to the act, a person who commits cyber crime has to face stringent punishment like imprisonment for 3 years and fine up to 5 lakh. Maharashtra is at the forefront of states in controlling cybercrimes and it has been proved to be the first state to start a separate cyber crime unit.
4. What are the ways to relieve stress?
Answer: Some people relieve their mental stress by laughing loudly. Answer: Children in their early age often try tobacco, cigarette, gutkha, alcoholic drinks, drugs and so on, as a result of either peer –group pressure or a symbol of high standard of living or as an imitation of elders. This could lead to addiction of such deadly substances. These temporarily intoxicating drugs of plant origin and some chemicals may permanently damage the human nervous system, muscle system, heart and so on.
6. How is liquor produced? What does alcoholism result in?
Answer: Liquor is obtained by fermentation of substances and if done wrong, poisonous liquor is produced and this could be fatal in many ways. Alcoholism can result in reducing the efficiency of the nervous system (especially brain) and liver as well as the lifespan of a person. Brain development in adolescents is also hindered due to alcoholism and so the ability of memorization and learning becomes slow. Addicted people are unable to think rationally. Due to this, the person has to face social, mental and familial illness along with physical illness.
7. What are the after effects of too much use of modern technology and communication media?
Answer: It is seen that people who spend time with cell phones for several hours are usually unaware of the surroundings. This is also a sort of addiction and leads to endangering of social health. Meanwhile, the radiation from cell phones also causes several physical problems such as tiredness, headache, insomnia, forgetfulness, tinnitus, joint pains and problems in vision. A more serious fact is that the radiation penetrates the bones of children more effectively than the bones of adults. People continuously using computers and the internet become solitary as they are unable to establish harmonious relations with relatives and other members of the society. Habitually, they become self-centred and thereby they may develop problems like autism and selfishness. They become less sensitive towards others. Chronic effect of such a tendency is that they are not ready to help others in need and hence they also do not get help, when in need.
8. What is selficide?
Answer: A person who is indulging in selfie is not aware about the world around and the risks. This is known as selfiecide.
